“HOLD”
Today I share with the world my debut single, ‘Hold’ and I can't help but think of the journey that led me here. The idea for my ‘Hold’ EP came to me during a time when I was feeling lost, struggling to hold on to hope and strength in the face of adversity.
I recall the year 2011, when I first moved to London, and witnessed the London riots unfold in real time. The images of people coming together to collectively fight for what they believe in left an indelible impression on me. It made me dream about the day when there would be no sides, when people would stand together, united in their shared humanity.
The ‘Hold’ EP is my attempt to capture the essence of that dream, to create a sonic journey that connects with the innermost recesses of our being, and awakens feelings of self-connection and melancholia, impelling us to initiate positive change in the world.
As I share this debut collection of tracks, I am filled with gratitude and hope. Gratitude for the opportunity to share my vision with others, and hope that it will inspire them to connect with themselves, with nature, and with each other.
I dream of a world where we are united, where we hold on to hope, strength, and resilience, and where we fight for what we believe in, together.
